Scrap N Stamp has enjoyed being a part of your lives for over 6 years, and through much soul searching and shedding of tears, we are afraid that we must say goodbye.
The long lasting recession has hit many areas of the country and unfortunately we have also felt its effects. We have examined all the options and have come to the realization that we cannot continue to provide the level of service that you, our customers, have come to expect, such as offering great products and classes that cannot be found elsewhere. We have tried to be a store that offers our customers not only the latest products and techniques but also friendship, support and a place to call home.
This decision was not easy, nor was it reached lightly. We consider our customers not only patrons, but friends. We have been lucky these past 6 years to have met all of you and formed relationships that we hope will continue.
For those who have purchased 2010 memberships, we will be putting a $20 credit onto your account. We will do our best to honor outstanding orders and classes will end as of Feb. 15th, 2010. We plan on closing our doors as of Sunday, Feb. 28th at 5pm. For those orders that cannot be received in a timely fashion, we will be giving a full credit onto your account.
The sale will begin Saturday, January, 30th at 10am. Everything in the store is going to be 35% off, we will also be selling fixtures, tables, class stamps, paper racks and chairs. The fixtures, furniture etc will be sold as marked and may be picked up after Feb. 15th, also no discounts will apply to these items. Remember to shop early because all sales are final and please cash or credit cards only, no checks will be accepted. Keep checking your emails for sale updates.
In these times of the big box stores taking over the world, we cannot stress enough how important it is for you to support your local stores. They provide service and expertise that cannot be matched and are more than willing to go that extra mile for their customers.
Finally, remember to check out Jodie's blog as she will continue to provide creative inspiration for all those interested. We know that she has exciting things on the horizon, so be sure to become a follower of her blog. Thank you Jacksonville for 6 wonderful years and we look forward to what the future brings.
